Easter Eggs

Hi, everyone! Time flies, and Easter 2014 is coming. While researching for Easter inspiration, I found some great pictures that reminded me of my childhood -- when my mom used to paint egg shells and fill them with caramelized peanuts.

I always found painted eggs so beautiful and much more (visually) appealing than the traditional Brazilian chocolate eggs wrapped in shiny, ugly wrapping paper. Therefore, I dedicate this post to old traditions and to the beauty of real eggs. Check out some great ideas we found out there:

Oi! O tempo voa, e a Páscoa de 2014 ja esta chegando. Enquanto pesquisava por ideias pra Páscoa, me deparei com fotos que trouxeram lembranças da minha infancia -- quando minha mãe pintava cascas de ovos e enchia eles de amendoim doce ( também conhecido como “pivica”).

Sempre achei os ovinhos de verdade muito mais esteticamente atrativos do que os ovos de chocolate industrializados, aqueles embrulhados em um papel plastificado horroroso e cheio de logotipos. Assim sendo, dedico esse post as velhas tradições e a beleza dos ovos de verdade. Vejam so tudo o que da pra inventar com eles:

Isn’t Easter one of the loveliest holidays of the whole year? I simply love it. Commonly related to bunnies and chocolate, Easter may be celebrated in many different ways. Some choose to make a family gathering luncheon, others plan a party for children, and others simply exchange (tasty) treats. Whether you want to go big or small, Easter celebrations are always adorable and delicious!
